We highly recommend Janice and Joe to anyone wanting to renovate their kitchen.  We had never done this before and Janice's advice was wonderful as she really understood what we wanted and needed.  We got several quotes from different companies and Kiwi was competitively priced but what sold them to us was the great help and advice and the way Janice gave us her time to help us make the right decisions.  The installation was great and both Joe and Janice went the extra mile to work around our painter and to add and change things that we only thought of as it was happening.  They are both helpful, friendly, genuine and reliable, as well as being very professional and competent.  The finished kitchen is fabulous and even better than we hoped for. We found Kiwi Kitchens via an internet search after visiting other showrooms where we had been ignored, had to deal with pushy sales people, or, unhelpful advice and promises such as "you can have anything you want".  Immediately the difference was obvious - although we didn't have an appointment, Janice spent an hour or so guiding us through various products and ideas, helping us to decide to ask Kiwi Kitchens to design our new kitchen.

Designer Debbie took time to understand us and our requirements and was able to product the stunning design we had hoped for.  Throughout the design process, we always received timely and intelligent advice, and always felt that everyone at Kiwi Kitchens had time to spend with us and respond to our questions.  We were very impressed with the attention to detail, making sure we were aware of the implications of our choices, and making suggestions to change the design slightly to improve the overall look and feel of the kitchen.

We also needed one person to coordinate all the tradies and we were very happy with the contractors recommended and how they all worked together at exactly the right time.  Joe installed the kitchen with the same care, professionalism and attention to detail that we had enjoyed from Debbie and Janice. 

In summary, we wanted top quality, and expected perfection, and that's exactly what Kiwi Kitchens delivered.

"I'd wanted a new kitchen since we bought our first home 10 years ago! We decided that seeing as we were getting EQC repairs done we'd go for it.

I can't fault the service from start to finish.  The consultant/designer asked easy and practical questions which helped her understand not just what I needed but also what I wanted.  Choosing colours, finishes and work bench options I felt fully supported, informed and listened to.  The fitter was amazing at working around our EQC work (which was running late) and never made it seem like anything was a problem.

During the entire process I felt like I was their only customer and their aim was my happiness.  The finished product is amazing. I am so happy in my kitchen and love showing it off to my friends. Our kitchen is the hub of our home.  It is a truly happy place.

I totally recommend Kiwi Kitchens.  Right from day one this family based team were a delight to work with and as a result we now have a kitchen that looks fabulous, is really functional, well-constructed, withon our budget and best of all, just what we wanted.  They were able to help us navigate through negotiations with our insurance company (our home was undergoing repair following the Christchurch earthquake) and were easily able to fit in with other trades working on our home during a rather challenging repair.  A great experience all round at a difficult time.  This will be my first port of call in the future, should we need to put in a new kitchen.  Many thanks to a great team.

 

I am delighted with my new kitchen and the service provided by the Kiwi Kitchens team.  I upgraded my existing kitchen, approx 30 years old, and now have a much more functional and user friendly space to cook in.  The quality of finishes, both joinery and bench top, is first class.  From Michelle at the design stage, to Janice and Joe at the installation stage, everything went smoothly and their recommendations were all spot on.  I also used their trade team - builder, plumber, electrician and painter and found them all to be very professional, worked in well together and did a great job.  There's nothing I would change in my kitchen design and I have no hesitation in recommending Kiwi Kitchens to anyone looking for a quality kitchen supplied by a friendly helpful team.
